Helping Small Schools

Kent understands the various cycles small schools go through and is committed to helping educators chart new ways to success for all involved. He has helped schools here and abroad stay true to core values while adopting 21st century best practices.

Helping Scholars, Collectors & Institutions

Kent knows the hearts, minds and lives of the 19th century New England Transcendentalists, those towering figures of American thought like Henry Thoreau, Margaret Fuller, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bronson and Louisa May Alcott, and Elizabeth Peabody. Over the last quarter century Kent built a number of substantial collections of rare books and manuscripts while assisting scholars, collectors and institutions in the identification and acquisition of significant artifacts.
